President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that Maldivian content creators will soon be able to apply for special soft loans, with applications set to open within the next two weeks.
In a post on X, President Muizzu said technical preparations for the scheme are nearing completion. The initiative is designed to strengthen the country’s creative economy and provide more opportunities for Maldivian youth in media, entertainment, and content-driven sales and marketing.
“I have instructed that this scheme cover media content, audio-video production, entertainment, and content specific to sales and marketing, and to launch it within the next two weeks,” he said.
