Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) cleared 879 containers between August 31 and September 6.
This included 452 twenty-foot and 427 forty-foot containers.
Eggs were the most cleared item, with 11,730 packages processed. Other goods included 7,160 packages of onions, 5,721 packages of watermelon, 4,559 packages of potatoes, and 3,636 packages of tomatoes.
Pineapples, cabbage, bananas, pumpkin, and sweet melon were also cleared.
During the week, MPL handled two container vessels and four general cargo vessels.
