100 metres of keywall capping concrete has been completed under the Boduthakurufaanu Magu development project in Male’ City.

According to MTCC, 100 metres of keywall capping concrete has now been completed, while sheet piling work across segments 2, 3 and 4 has reached 68 percent completion.

The project also includes upgrades to sewerage and water systems, along with the installation of stormwater catchpits and wells aimed at reducing flooding in the area.

MTCC said preparations are underway for roadway construction, while landscaping and tree planting works are also progressing in segment five.

A total of 830 metres of road is being developed under the project, which aims to ease traffic congestion and improve road access along the northern side of Male’.
