MPL has reported that over 54,000 perishable cargo packages were cleared during the week of March 15 to 21.
A total of 54,523 perishable packages, including fruits and vegetables, were processed to support national supply.
Container operations recorded 1,169 TEUs unloaded and 1,017 TEUs loaded, bringing total throughput to 2,186 TEUs.
Vessel activity included two container ships and six general cargo vessels arriving, while two container ships and eight general cargo vessels departed.
Cargo clearance reached 28,145.10 freight tonnes for container vessels and 2,602.54 tonnes for general cargo, with 813 container consignments and 412 general cargo consignments handled.
Officials said the figures highlight consistent food supply and stable port operations.
