MPL has reported that over 40,000 tonnes of cargo were cleared during the week of April 5 to 11.
Cargo clearance reached 37,334.15 freight tonnes for container vessels and 3,433.51 tonnes for general cargo.
A total of 48,970 perishable cargo packages were cleared, maintaining steady supply of essential goods.
Container operations recorded 1,269 TEUs unloaded and 1,514 TEUs loaded, bringing total throughput to 2,783 TEUs.
Vessel movements included two container ships and six general cargo vessels arriving, while two container ships and seven general cargo vessels departed.
Officials said the figures reflect continued stability in port operations and cargo handling.
