The Elections Commission has announced a second round of local council elections on April 18.
EC President Mohamed Zahid said the initial vote was conducted freely and recorded one of the highest turnouts in recent years.
He thanked government institutions, political parties and the public for their support in organising the elections.
The commission has received 170 complaints, with investigations ongoing. Authorities have said dissatisfied parties can appeal to the High Court within 14 days.
Final results of the local council and WDC elections have now been announced.
