President Mohamed Muizzu has appointed a new cabinet, following the resignation of 10 ministers earlier in the day.
The reshuffle forms part of wider government changes after the recent local council elections.
Moosa Zameer has been appointed Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises. Ali Ihusaan will serve as Minister of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology. Iruthishaam Adam takes over as Foreign Minister.
Dr Ismail Shafeeu will head the combined Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Skills Development. Geela Ali has been appointed Minister of Health, Family and Welfare.
Mohamed Saeed continues in the economic portfolio, now expanded to include transport and trade. Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed remains Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowment.
Mohamed Ameen has been appointed Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation. Abdulla Rafiu continues in youth and sports under an expanded mandate.
Heena Waleed has been appointed Minister of Arts, Culture and Heritage. Dr Abdulla Muththalib retains infrastructure, housing and urban development. Ali Shareef takes charge of climate change, environment and energy.
Ahmed Shiyam and Attorney General Ahmed Usham remain in their posts with no changes.
Several ministers retained roles or took on expanded portfolios. Key sectors have been merged to improve coordination and delivery.
