Voting has begun for local council and WDC elections, along with a national referendum.
Polling is taking place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. across the country. The Elections Commission has said voters will receive three ballot papers for the council, WDC and referendum.
Authorities have arranged separate ballot boxes for each vote. More than 200,000 people are eligible to cast their ballots.
Over 500 ballot boxes have been placed nationwide, with more than 8,000 officials managing the process. Police are also deployed to ensure security.
