Taxi Line Expands to Vilimalé

MTCC has said two Lumin-model electric vehicles have been sent to the island as part of the rollout. The service aims to ease taxi shortages in the Greater Malé area.

Authorities have said the taxi line will operate using a fully electric fleet, supporting efforts to improve transport and protect the environment.

Transport Minister Mohamed Ameen has said the service will also be expanded to Addu City within this year.
