Residente has announced his directorial debut with a new historical drama titled PORTO RICO, starring Bad Bunny.
The film will tell the story of Puerto Rico and is described as an epic Caribbean western inspired by true events.
Bad Bunny will lead the cast alongside Viggo Mortensen, Javier Bardem and Edward Norton.
Residente co-wrote the script with Oscar-winning screenwriter Alexander Dinelaris Jr., known for Birdman.
The project will also be executive produced by filmmaker Alejandro G. Iñárritu. Filming and release dates have not yet been announced.
