Managing Director of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed has described the relocation of domestic operations to Terminal 2 at Velana International Airport as a major milestone.
Speaking at Tuesday night’s ceremony, he said the move marks a new chapter for domestic travel and will ease congestion caused by rising passenger numbers, especially during peak seasons.
Shareef also thanked President Dr Mohamed Muizzu for closely monitoring the transition and offering guidance.
