oduthakurufaanu Magu has officially reopened after expansion and infrastructure upgrades.
The project was completed in two phases. The first phase opened on 8 December 2025, delivering 830 metres of roadway and 737 metres of sheet piling, along with drainage, street lights, road signs and a dedicated pedestrian lane.
The first phase, worth MVR 144.5 million, was completed in 455 days by MTCC. The second phase, valued at MVR 55.95 million and scheduled for 210 days, was completed ahead of schedule.
