Benfica has drawn Real Madrid in the Champions League play-offs, just weeks after their dramatic league-phase meeting.
Goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin’s 98th-minute goal secured a 4–2 win for Benfica in that encounter.
Newcastle has been drawn against Qarabag, while defending champions Paris St-Germain will face domestic rivals Monaco.
The two-legged play-offs, for teams placed 9th to 24th, will take place on 17–18 February and a week later. The 2025–26 final will be at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on 30 May.
