Team Chunkz has defeated Team AboFlah 8–7 in the charity football event Match for Hope 2026, held at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in Doha.
The annual event raised US$12.4 million to support children and youth without access to education across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. The match drew 40,521 spectators.
Team Chunkz, coached by Arsène Wenger, featured stars including Eden Hazard, Marcelo da Silva, and Diego Costa. Team AboFlah, led by Roberto Di Matteo, included Thierry Henry, Franck Ribéry, Gerard Piqué, and Tim Cahill.
Players and coaches praised the atmosphere and organisation, highlighting the role of sport in supporting education and giving children a better future.
