The President made the pledge while addressing residents of Hulhumalé Phase II. He reiterated his commitment to fulfil key electoral promises made during his first term.

Dr. Muizzu said he has instructed HDC to provide a MVR 200,000 discount on maintenance fees for Hiyaa flat owners. He assured residents that he will take all possible steps to reduce the overall cost.

The President also said efforts are underway to address the backlog of unpaid flat rent. He said the government will review the data and work toward a practical solution.
