US-Bangla Airlines has begun flights from the new Terminal 1 at Velana International Airport, boosting the terminal’s airline lineup.
A ceremony was held today to mark the launch, attended by Munaz Ali, Chairman of the Airlines Operators Committee, and MACL officials.
Station Manager Zahidul Islam opened the airline’s check-in counters. Outbound passengers received gifts, while 176 arrivals on flight BS337 were welcomed with cultural performances.
Bangladesh’s largest private airline began Maldives operations on November 19, 2021.
With US-Bangla, 20 airlines now operate from Terminal 1, as MACL works to provide high-quality services to all carriers.
