The government aims to complete the digital transformation of all land transport services provided by the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation by the end of August, Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed announced.
Speaking at a press conference, Saeed said a new fully digital system is being developed through the government’s OneGov platform to replace the ministry’s current system. The new platform is expected to provide faster, simpler, and more accessible transport services for the public.
The minister said the ministry will officially launch the new system after receiving approval from all relevant government agencies. The digital upgrade will streamline key services, including driver’s licence issuance and vehicle registration.
