Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) marked the completion of its academic year at a ceremony attended by Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed.
MPL awarded certificates to participants who completed the Certificate in Port Operations course in 2025.
The event also highlighted the return of UNCTAD’s Modern Port Management Programme in 2024 after a 12-year break. UNCTAD and MPL officials presented certificates and awards, including the Best All-Round Award.
Haysam received the Best All-Round Award along with a Master’s Degree scholarship from the World Maritime University in Sweden.
Deputy Vice Chancellor Abdul Rahman Mubarike, Dean Captain Mohammed Zaid, and MPL CEO Dr. Mohamed Rishween (Rtd) presented awards, certificates, and badges to graduates.
