Maldives Airports Company Limited has contributed MVR 250,000 to the national telethon “Ceylon aa eku Dhiveheen” supporting Sri Lanka after Cyclone Ditwa.
MACL made the donation as part of its CSR work. The company said it aims to support communities hit hardest by the storm.
Sri Lanka suffered severe damage from Cyclone Dithwa. Homes were destroyed. Landslides struck several areas. Major infrastructure was affected. Officials say the need for support remains urgent.
