Military rehearsals for Victory Day are taking place in Malé from October 30 to November 2, prompting temporary road closures.
The Maldives National Defence Force is holding daily rehearsals from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ahead of Victory Day on November 3.
During this period, Boduthakurufaanu Magu and Ameeru Ahmed Magu will be closed. Some areas have also been declared non-permitted zones for four-wheel vehicles.
Authorities urge the public to avoid closed roads and follow traffic instructions as preparations continue for the national celebration.
