Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced steady progress on the AA. Himandhoo beach protection project, valued at MVR 24.54 million.
According to the company, preparations are underway for the construction of an outer rock revetment. The project scope includes the addition of 43,200 cubic meters of sand to the beach and the construction of a 110-meter rock revetment.
MTCC will also install a 235-meter geobag revetment along the shoreline, construct rock groins across 240 meters, and build a 20-meter geobag groin.
