More than 162 tonnes of cargo has been handled through the Maldives’ Sea-to-Air Cargo service in May 2026.
According to the latest figures, a total of 162 tonnes of cargo and 29 TEUs were processed through the service during the month.
Cargo was transported on flights operated by Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Swiss International Air Lines, Turkish Airlines and Saudia.
The shipments were destined for several international markets, including Italy, the United States, Germany, Ireland, Portugal, Spain and France.
The Sea-to-Air Cargo service continues to support faster cargo movement between sea freight and air freight networks, connecting Maldivian logistics operations to key global destinations.
