MPL has announced that it cleared goods from 1,359 containers during the past week.
Looking at the goods cleared last week, vegetables were cleared in the largest quantities. In this regard, 14,540 packages of onions were cleared, along with 11,617 packages of potatoes, 5,415 packages of carrots, 5,647 packages of garlic, 3,672 packages of tomatoes, and 1,819 packages of pineapples. Additionally, MPL cleared 2,157 packages of cabbage, 2,087 packages of radish, 806 packages of jackfruit, and 539 packages of sweet melon during the past week.
According to the weekly statistics released by MPL, the containers cleared last week included 553 20-foot containers and 403 40-foot containers. MPL has announced that it handled 3 container vessels and 3 general cargo vessels during the past week.
As the number of containers being cleared continues to increase, MPL is undertaking numerous efforts to expedite the company’s operations. In this regard, the company states that compared to previously, MPL has significantly reduced the time taken to clear goods by several fold
