President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has said he was not aware of a specific matter raised earlier but confirmed that he is scheduled to meet with the people of Henveiru on Friday night as part of his ongoing public consultation meetings across Malé City.
In a post on X, Presidential Spokesperson Heena Waleed said the President’s neighborhood meetings are intended to gather public opinion and allow him to listen directly to the concerns of Maldivians. She confirmed that the meeting with Henveiru residents will take place tomorrow night.
The session is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at Kalaafaanu School, and Heena extended an open invitation to all residents of Henveiru to attend.
President Muizzu announced the decision to hold community meetings in various wards of Malé City on August 17, marking the second anniversary of his administration. Since then, he has met with residents of Vilimalé, Maafannu, and Machangolhi, responding to their questions and hearing their concerns as part of his commitment to maintaining direct engagement with the public.
